Presentation Topic: Opening Knowledge Horizons: Making Research More Findable and Accessible for Society
Prof. Dr. Paul Arthur is Vice-Chancellor’s Professorial Research Fellow and Chair in Digital Humanities and Social Sciences, at Edith Cowan University, Western Australia. He speaks and publishes widely on major challenges and changes facing 21st-century society, from the global impacts of technology on communication, culture and identity to migration and human rights. A Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, he has held visiting positions in Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America, and given keynote and plenary talks in twenty countries.

Prof. Dr. Nada Krapić is a professor at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Rijeka, Croatia. She lectures several courses related to work and organizational psychology. Some of the main areas she considers are personality, vocational interests, stress, burnout and coping at work.
Dr. Valentina Rossi
Dr. Valentina Rossi is Junior Researcher in English Language and Translation at the eCampus University of Novedrate. Her research interests span pragmatics, Shakespearian adaptations, Elizabethan and Restoration drama. Her publications include the monograph Le rappresentazioni italiane dell’Antonio e Cleopatra di Shakespeare. 1888-2015 (Carocci, 2020); essays on Ford, Shakespeare and Congreve.
Dr. Shaya Abdullah Alshahrani
Dr. Shaya Abdullah Alshahrani is an assistant professor of law at Najran University. In May 2022, he was awarded a PhD from the University of Exeter in the UK. He is interested in in the broad field of commercial law, with a particular focus on commercial contracts and e-commerce. He is also interested in comparative studies of Sharia law in general, as well as EU and English laws governing business to consumer contracts.

Dr. Athena Smith is a sociology professor at Hillsborough Community College, in Florida. She holds an MA in Sociology, an MS in International Relations and a Ph.D. in International Business. She has published on themes of cultural and economic globalization and human trafficking. She speaks English, Greek, French and Spanish.
Dr. Susana Fernandez Blanco
Dr. Susana Fernandez Blanco is a Spanish artist & Assistant Professor at PMU University in Saudi Arabia, holds an international PhD in Fine Arts from the UCM University of Spain. She specialises in Encaustic art, sustainability, and interdisciplinary research spanning 3D printing and artificial intelligence, skilfully integrating traditional techniques with modern innovations.
Mr. Efstathios Rafail Pasgianos
Mr. Efstathios Rafail Pasgianos, lawyer; Ph.D. candidate in Public Law at the University of Athens; LL.M., University of Cambridge in Legal Philosophy & International Law. Fields of interest: jurisprudence, moral and political philosophy, human rights (esp. the freedoms of thought, expression and association), public international law (esp. regarding armed conflict regulation) and the environment (esp. of non-redistributive climate justice).
Ms. Karyna Karpishyna
Ms. Karyna Karpishyna, 4th year BA in Psychology, Assistant Resident Director in Residence Life at LCC International University, Lithuania. Besides research and work in Student Affairs, Karyna is currently finishing her BA in Psychology and working on her research about bilingualism and perspective-taking based on the age of language acquisition.
Ms. Tinatin Tvaltchrelidze
Ms. Tinatin Tvaltchrelidze graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, majoring in Georgian Philology. In the same university she received a master's degree in the field of comparative literature. She is currently studying for a doctorate in comparative literature. She is an invited lecturer at universities ( Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and Iliauni). She has participated in a number of international and local scientific conferences and has published articles in internationally rated journals. Currently she is working on the topic Taboo and moral landmarks in the Georgian literature of the 70s-80s of the 20th century with the grant funding of Shota Rustaveli national science foundation of Georgia.
Mr. Sanjayduth Bhundhoo
Mr. Sanjayduth Bhundhoo from Mauritius is presently working as a full time Lecturer and Researcher at the “University of Technology, Mauritius” in the field of Social Sciences. He has a Ph.D candidate in Socio Environment Sustainability. His qualification are as follows: MA public Policy and Administration; MA Communication and Public Relations; Post Graduate Diploma in NGO Management; BSC (Hons) Social Work and Diploma in Social Work.
He has more than 15 years of experience as professional social worker practicing both at Micro and Macro level. His main areas of research are mainly in the field of social sciences, social sustainability, social work, social innovation, social welfare and wellbeing, human rights, migration and sustainable livelihoods, social integration and social approach, social protection, Social Development and Social Capital.

Dr. Mgr. Ivana Kowaliková, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of social work at the Faculty of Social Studies, University of Ostrava. She teaches and publishes mainly in the field of social work with older people. She focuses the sources of social support for seniors in today’s society, the impact of digitization of social work and gerontechnology in the context of social work. She participates in the implementation of social innovations in practice and education of social work, for example by using ICT and selected SMART technologies in social work practice with vulnerable groups. She also focuses with qualitative strategies in social work research, specializes in the method Qualitative Content Analysis.

Presentation topic: “The acquisition of a second language: too many issues involved”
Prof. Dr.Ernani Machado Garrão Neto is a professor and academic researcher at The Military School of Rio de Janeiro (CMRJ), He has supervised, from the last 20 years, students and their studies evolving both Portuguese and English languages, regarding their graduation aims during undergraduate time. He teaches High School Classes focused on Military careers (CaMil) and runs NELL project (Language Studies Project).
Individual researcher interested in second language acquisition issues, particularly applied to how adult speakers face different grammar structures and deal with it, during acquisition process, Professor Garrão Neto has lots of published articles and papers dealing with second language acquisition (SLA) issues.
Professor Garrão Neto holds a doctoral degree in Linguistics from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and a post-doctoral certificate from Universidade Nova de Lisboa (UNL), in Portugal.
Prof. Moshe Sharabi
Prof. Moshe Sharabi earned his Ph.D. at the University of Haifa; he is an associate professor and former head of the MA studies in Organizational Developing and Consulting at Yezreel Valley Academic College. His current research interests include human resource management, the meaning of work among genders and religions, and cross-sectional and cross-cultural comparative research on work values. He is the editor of the book: Generational Differences in Work Values and Ethics: An International Perspective and his studies have been published in varied international journals including International Labour Review, International Journal of Psychology, Cross-Cultural Management, Employee Relations and Sociological Perspectives.
Dr. Hila Cohen
Dr. Hila Cohen is a researcher, therapist, and lecturer at the Kaye Academic College of Education in Israel. She teaches courses in organizational, developmental, and social psychology, mindfulness, and leadership. She holds a PhD and postdoctoral fellowship from the Department of Business Administration at Ben Gurion University of the Negev. Specializes in personality and individual differences, psychological aspects of the world of work, and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Judith Salfati
Dr. Judith Salfati is a lecturer at the Open University and the Academic College of Education. Her areas of specialization are: teacher training and adapted teaching. She guides students in writing seminar papers and theses and deals with the professional development of teachers. Her research areas focus on teacher training

Prof. Dr. Eray Acar
Prof. Dr. Eray Acar completed his pre-university education in Antalya. Having completed the Department of Public Administration at Dokuz Eylül University in 2000, ACAR also completed his doctorate at the same university. Eray ACAR, who has been an academician since 2000, still works as an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Kütahya Dumlupınar University.
Assoc.Prof.Dr.Muhittin Tolga Özsağlam
Assoc.Prof.Dr.Muhittin Tolga Özsağlam got PhD degree at the department of Political Science and International Relations, Marmara University-İstanbul in 2006. His academic researches on Russia and Caucasus and also he is doing various studies on Mediterranean and Cyprus issues recently. Özsağlam continues his academic studies at the department of International Relations, European University of Lefke in North Cyprus.

Ms. Meriç Musaoğlu
Ms. Meriç Musaoğlu is a research assistant at Istanbul Medipol University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture. She received her master's degree from the International Interior Architecture Master's Program at Istanbul Technical University and Hochschule für Technik Stuttgart. She has participated in many national and international workshops as a participant and coordinator, and also has various design registrations. Her research interests focus on culture and space, environmental psychology, atmosphere design, and design education.

Ms. Feixiang Liu is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Humanities at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in Spain. Her research focuses on women's literature and comparative literature, in her doctoral thesis specifically exploring the comparison between early 20th-century Spanish and Chinese women's literature.
